Colt has been contributing to a healthy, safe and sustainable built environment for nearly 85 years.

Colt International LLC in Dubai is part of the Colt Group, a privately owned British company.  Colt was founded by Jack O’Hea in 1931 in London, UK. The company, which is still owned by the O’Hea family and by the Colt Foundation, is run from headquarters in Havant in Hampshire and has representation around the world.

Colt has been represented in the Middle East for over 30 years and our first installation in the UAE was at Port Rashid in Dubai in 1977, where a system of natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators was fitted.  They are still operating to this day.

In 2005 Colt established an office in Dubai, utilising directly employed Colt personnel to provide the necessary technical and commercial experience that is required in this rapidly developing area of the world.

Being a global organisation, our local team is able to support customers in the region with the best expertise and first-hand knowledge developed in projects around the world, using the resources of a global company.

We support our customers throughout the UAE and the Middle East with our network of representatives and agents covering the region.  In Saudi Arabia, we have a separate company, Colt Arabia Limited.
